Rogers Scholars

Last night I had the pleasure of being invited to dinner for the 18 students who received the Rogers Family Scholars Award. I was the guest of one of my former students who is now a senior at CSUSB.
I must say that as many luncheon and dinners that I have attended over the years, it is always inspiring to listen to the stories and hear how so many students have conquered hardships. Also, to see the pride in a mother and father's eyes when their child is the first in the family to attend college.
Should you be applying to CSUSB, be sure and apply for the Rogers Scholarship if you meet the eligibility requirements.
